Obsessive!Draco Recs

So, fics where Draco is behaving oddly or becomes obsessive under pressure are just one of those things that I Will Totally Read. Especially if it's mixed with a couple of things:

1) Authorial understanding of what defines non-consensual encounters
2) Authorial acknowledgement that Draco's behavior is disturbing and thus his actions are not simply written off as 'romantic'
3) A Hermione who behaves realistically for her character, by which I mean either coming up with a coping strategy or fighting back in whatever way she feels will work, within the premise of the fic's world.

Alas, Obsessive!Draco fic rarely hits all three of those things. Which is why I'm pleased to have found camnz, who seems to write a fair bit of Obsessive!Draco and who has written some quite enjoyable fics. She's also, in my opinion, written quite a number plausible versions of Hermione in worlds where Voldemort has won (or things have fallen out almost as though he had) and where no form of resistance is possible.

I rather like the slant in Utterly Despicable and Best Enemies where both a prejudiced Wizarding World and a Muggle-hostile Ministry are two things that she finds herself unequipped to fight against. Sort of a 'you won the battle, but lost the war' kind of scenario with long-term social pressures and back-room deals being the things that Gryffindors are least well-equipped to fight.

Fair warning, there's some spelling and grammar issues in her work, but I found it was unobtrusive enough that I was able to ignore it.

The Slow Thaw
Words: 42,115
Warning: Non-con
Summary: Hermione is serving at Malfoy Mansion after the war was lost. In her bleak existance, she manages to find ways to cope.

Best Enemies
Words: 41,868
Summary: A throw-away conversation with the vilest ferret on the planet has unintended consequences for Hermione's entire summer.

Utterly Despicable
Words: 46,438
Summary: The death of both Voldemort and Harry Potter let the pureblood elite build the world they wanted. One that leaves Hermione in a vulnerable state, which Draco Malfoy is prepared to take full advantage of.
Note: This is absolutely not a romance.

FYI: I don't know how long I've been able to change the margins on fic at FF.net, but holy cake, 3/4 page width made my FF.net reading experience 1000% better. Check the upper right of fic on FF.net for a host of options to change font and text presentation.
